The Academy of Arts and Science of Music announced the finalists in the fifteenth edition of the Music Awards on 24 February 2011 .

Berrogüetto have been chosen for the prize for the best song in Galician "Alala da noite", inspired by the poem that Manuel Rivas sent the group as a gift after the concert presentation of Xabier Diaz as the new voice. A composition of Quico Comesaña and Xabier Díaz opens "Kosmogonías", Berrogüetto's fifth album.

Also eligible for this award are “Quen me dera na casiña” by Siniestro Total, “Negro caravel” by Cristina Pato & Rosa Cedrón and “Derorán” by Mercedes Peón.
